El artículo se escribió a propósito del fallecimiento de la fotógrafa Mariana Yampolsky, acaecido en marzo de 2002. En él se hace una reflexión, acercamiento y valoración de su trabajo, tomando los catorce lobros en que, central o tangencialmente, se les ordenó cronológicamente y se analizaron uno por uno, poniendo énfasis, tanto en la unidad y variedad de su fotografía, como en la clara evolución de su obra. Por último, se recurrió a varios testimonios para develar la faceta poco conocida de Mariana Yampolsky como arquitecta y constructora. |

Abstract |

The article was written with respect to the death of photographer Mariana Yampolsky, ocurred in march of 2002. In it, a reflection, approach, and valuation of her work is made, taking the fourteen books in which, centrally oy secondarily, she approached topics of architecture; they were chronologically ordered and analyzed one by one, emphasizing, so much the unit and variety of her pictures, as the clear evolution of her work. Lastly, several testimonies were appealed to in order to reveal the not very well -known facet of Mariana Yampolsky as architect and builder. |
